I absolutely love this poem post from When Deadlines Become Zombies. I read it while I was lying in our family fort on the living room floor.
You see, every Friday fortnight our little family has a fort night. We get out a mattress or two and build a fort on the living room floor or somewhere else and camp out watching movies or reading books together. It is usually accompanied with pizza (usually homemade) and ice cream, so no one really complains.
Be sure to have a read of the original poem at When Deadlines Become Zombies, but I’m including the poem here as well:
For kids: it’s a resort, more cozy than airports.
A bed, chairs, table may be used for its support.
Cushions, pillows, blankets are parts of it (of course).
